YSS PROGRESSIVE FORK SPRINGS

Progressive fork springs offer the advantage of a comfortable ride on normal roads, but less chance running out of travel on harsh bumps or under heavy braking.

The progressive action means more force is needed to compress the fork as travel increases. This can give more comfort, control & shorter braking distances – all of which are compromised if the fork bottoms out. They are ideal for road bikes that operate under much more varied conditions than track machines.

We offer a large range of YSS progressive springs suitable for both the home enthusiast and the professional suspension workshop. They are made from premium silicon spring steel that allows reduced material thickness that minimises mass & increases torsional rigidity. The springs are polished for low noise and come with ground top & base.

We also offer complimentary fork products from YSS including Fork Valves, preload adjustable Fork Caps and complete Fork Upgrade Kits combining all products into complete kits.
