Many of our customers already appreciate the fantastic performance and value of our YSS Shock range. With 1000’s of applications for mono & twin shock bikes and often a choice of performance & adjustability, they are consistently popular. However, versions with continuous threaded preload adjuster can often be upgraded to hydraulic preload adjustment. 
Hydraulic Preload Adjusters adds the convenience of easy, hand adjustment that’s a great asset to riders who sometimes carry a pillion, load up the bike for touring or who want to firm up suspension for a track day or a more focussed ride. And if the bike originally featured a hand adjuster, adding one of our YSS units can retain all the original functionality when changing shocks. We have versions to suit 362, 366 & 456 series YSS shocks that are offered as mono & twin shock fitments. 
Various models of preload adjuster are available with some versions featuring a remote adjuster on a line which is a great benefit on bikes with inaccessible shocks. Adjustment is either via a knob or allen key which can be easily stored on the bike or in a pocket. If you want to fit a Hydraulic Preload Adjuster, you just need to check there’s sufficient room on the threaded shock body above the spring to accommodate the unit. If not, it’s often possible to fit a shorter spring to make more room. Also, check there’s room on the bike for the version you favour, remembering remote adjusters are easier in this respect as the adjuster is mounted away from the shock. These YSS units have proved themselves durable and reliable, but we do have service kits should you need to rebuild or repair them.
