TPMS features on many flagship models, but when things go wrong it can provide a headache to customers and repairers. Different manufacturers use different components & software, so repair can be difficult if you have an ‘out of franchise’ bike or you’re an independent repairer.
Our Alcar TECH 350 diagnostic tool can test, read, clone & reprogramme sensors on models from BMW, Harley Davidson, Indian, KTM, MV Agusta & Triumph and this list is constantly being expanded. This will allow your workshop to overcome TPMS issues due to sensor failure, coding issues, system faults or accident repair. It comes with a 3-year software licence meaning new vehicles will be added. Licence renewals are available after this period.
A key advantage of the Alcar diagnostic tool is it allows the cloning of OE sensors and programming of a replacement sensor, avoiding the need for relearning processes. It will work on Schrader and Alcar programmable sensors which we also supply. This unit can also be connected via an ODB socket and perform TPMS services on car & commercials too.
To support repair, we can offer the Alcar universal rim mounted TPMS sensors that can replace expensive OE parts. The valve mounted sensors include the complete valve & securing bolt, giving you everything you need. A rim sensor without valve is also offered. The sensors have a design battery life of 5 years. Alcar provide a TPMS Configurator database so it’s easy to find detailed information on vehicles, sensors & procedures.
If you are not ready to invest in your own TPMS diagnostics, Larsson offer a hire service to our registered trade customers. We provide the Alcar TECH350 on hire for a modest charge which includes return carriage.
